Young Patriots

Last week our students learned about patriotism. The Library sponsors a project that encourages people (Young and Old) to send supportive mail to our service personnel overseas to show that we care about them. The library supplied letters with large diagrams that the kids could trace with messages of support on them. After they finished we returned the letters to the library and they sent them off to service personnel overseas. Even though our children could not read the letters they wrote they knew what they said and that they were helping these men and women to feel a little closer to home.
